Care & Repair
Wood Products Used As Vessels For Food
Before use, apply with a soft cloth, a coat of mineral or other light edible oil inside and out. Let it rest. After use don’t immerse in water. Rinse-wipe and then rub in another very light coat of oil before storing until next use. If not used for a long period of time, just lightly buff with a soft cloth between uses.
Other Wood Products
Lightly apply oil inside and out when new. After use, remove the metal liner if present and apply light coat of oil inside to prevent dryness. Lightly buff with a soft cloth from time to time.
Sculptures
Use light coating of oil from time to time, polish with a soft cloth.
Pure Silver Trimmed Wood
Use a silver polishing cloth to clean the silver when tarnished. Avoid using silver cleaning solutions on silver trimmed wood products. Contact between the silver cleaning solution and the wood will ruin the lacquered finish of the wood itself.
Silver Plated Copper
Use specially formulated silver plated polish when tarnished. Occasionally rub with a silver polishing cloth.
Silk Textiles
Dry clean only.
